Penrith Regional Gallery and The Lewers Bequest is set on the western bank of the Nepean River at the foot of the Blue Mountains. Between 1950 and 1978 the gallery site was the family home of artists Margo and Gerald Lewers.
Awarded Museum of the Year in 1982, the gallery has grown to become a key part of the cultural landscape of Penrith and Western Sydney.
