The Hideaway is a self-contained three bedroom house, accommodating up to six guests, situated in Penneshaw on the seafront with unrestricted sea views over Christmas Cove.
The house is only metres from the boat ramp at Christmas Cove, close to shops, restaurants, beach, ferry terminal and jetty, yet far enough away for a quiet relaxing escape. Next door you'll find the Maritime and Folk Museum, and across the road a nine hole golf course, Kangaroo Island Visitor Information Centre, and only a short stroll away, mini golf and tennis courts.
The Hideaway comprises one queen size bedroom; one double bedroom; a third bedroom with two single beds; living room; dining area; kitchen; laundry and designer bathroom. A cot and high chair are also available upon request.
Facilities at The Hideaway: Linen is provided including pillows, quilts and spare blankets, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, gas stove and barbecue, reverse cycle heating and cooling, washing machine, television, radio, books, magazines, children's games plus many more.
The Hideaway has undercover parking and is also a good spot to see wildlife like fairy penguins which nest around the house, dolphins, and, if you are lucky, in June to November you may see a Southern Right whale....
