The annual Mackay Airport Beach Horse Racing Festival is an iconic event on North Queensland?s sporting and social calendar. While the showpiece of this three-day Festival is the Mackay Airport Beach Race Day attended by more than 3000 locals and visitors to the region, the Festival also features a legendary Launch Party, Charity Golf Challenge, Calcutta Classic and Auction and more.
Named as one of the Top 10 Social Events in Queensland by the Sunday Mail, the Festival has also reached ?hallmark? event status with Tourism and Events Queensland, acknowledged for contributing to the social fabric and economic prosperity of the Mackay Region.
This year?s Race Day will feature eight exciting horse races on one of Queensland?s most picturesque beaches.
