Flour Cask Bay Retreat is an affordable totally solar and wind powered eco retreat situated on the south coast of Kangaroo Island.
Built in 2006/2007, the retreat offers panoramic views and a real wildlife experience.
Located on 200 acres in total and adjoining approximately 1000 acres of native bushland, two kilometres from the south coast of the island, our greatest drawcard is the abundance of kangaroos and wallabies that migrate from the bushland onto the property and can be easily seen in large numbers at dawn and dusk. Echidnas, endangered Rosenberg's goannas, a great variety of birdlife can be encountered on this rural estate.
We have accommodation available of two self-contained units, each with queen size beds, full kitchen, ensuite, verandah, air conditioning and television.
